Refund and Returns Policy for Services

Services is defined as online classes and tutoring sessions. The refund policy for services does not apply to the purchase of products.


Payments made via Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, Venmo

Customer making a purchase via Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Venmo may cancel their purchase and receive a full refund for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received within 24 hours of registration.
  • The cancellation request is received less than 72 hours prior to the date services are to be rendered.
  • The full class (all scheduled class times and dates that were offered at the time of registration) is canceled by BetterEssayWriting.com.

Customer making a purchase via Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Venmo may cancel their purchase and receive a partial refund for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received at least 72 hours before the 2nd class date. (Cost of the first class, plus a $5 processing fee is deducted from the refunded amount).

Customer making a purchase via Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Venmo may cancel their purchase and receive a partial account credit for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received less than 72 hours before the 2nd class date. Cost of the first class, plus a $5 processing fee is deducted from the amount credited. Credit is issued as a coupon code which can be used for registering in BetterEssayWriting.com courses only.
  • The cancellation request is received after the 2nd class, but less than 14 days from the first class, then a class credit of 50% of the class fee paid will be issued as a credit. Credit is issued as a coupon code which can be used for registering in BetterEssayWriting.com courses only.

Customer making a purchase via Cash, Credit Card, Debit Card, or Venmo shall not receive refund or class credit for the following purchase:

  • The cancellation request is received 14 day after the first class.
  • A class credit was used to register in a course (a new credit will not be issued).

Payments made via Class Wallet:

Customer making a purchase via Class Wallet may cancel their purchase and receive a full refund for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received within 24 hours of purchase/ registration and services have not been rendered.
  • The cancellation request is received less than 72 hours prior to the date services are to be rendered.
  • Students registered for 1:1 private tutoring, remit a cancellation request at least 36 hours before services are to be rendered.
  • The full class (all scheduled class times and dates that were offered at the time of registration) is canceled by BetterEssayWriting.com.

Any purchase made using Class Wallet funds, that is eligible for a refund, shall have the refund issued back to Class Wallet. A class credit will not be issued. Neither the student, the student’s family, or the purchaser will be eligible to receive the refund in any form of payment outside of Class Wallet.

Customer making a purchase via Class Wallet may cancel their purchase and receive a partial refund for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received at least 72 hours before the 2nd class date. Cost of the first class, plus a $5 processing fee is deducted from the refunded amount.
  • The cancellation request is received at least 72 hours before 50% or more of the course has been completed. Cost of the completed sessions, plus a $10 processing fee is deducted from the refunded amount.

Customer making a purchase via Class Wallet shall not receive a refund or class credit for the following:

  • The cancellation request is received and more than 50% of the class has been completed.
  • The student does not attend class and the family does not withdraw the student from class.

Refund and Returns Policy for Products

Products is defined as tangible goods and digital goods. The refund policy for products does not apply to the purchase of services.

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at {email address} and send your item to: {physical address}.

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: {physical address}.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
